Gallup’s annual State of the Global Workplace report reveals low employee engagement: This challenge is compounded by the fact that only 50% of employees globally are highly engaged and passionate about their work. Gallup research concludes that engagement is higher when people feel their opinions matter and have the autonomy to develop and implement new ideas.
